Description

We are a leading construction company with projects and offices all over the Middle-East and North Africa. Due to our expansion locally and regionally, we invite highly qualified leaders to join our Qatar & Kuwait branches. The IT MANAGER will be responsible to perform systems and business analysis. Understands business processes, recognizes and recommends customizations to meet or improve company’s operations. Sets and carries out timelines and deadlines necessary to complete the conversion efficiently and accurately. Supervises programmers and leads the IT team in identifying new technologies and solutions for consideration and adoption works with outside implementation consultants to plan and organize implementation tasks. Standardizes technologies and platforms used in the operation. Manages the department’s budgets, personnel and assets. Leads and controls IT initiatives. Ensures that existing technologies used by the group are providing the optimum service to internal and external clients. Determines and writes standards and procedures for technical functions. Assists in the establishment and implementation of tactical and strategic plans for IT, as well as assists in the development and management of associated budgets. Ensures security and business continuity process frameworks are followed. Directs and plans appropriate training and usage of installed software and hardware. Keeps informed of the most current IT trends and technology. The ideal candidate should hold a graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in Computer Sciences with a minimum of 10 years experience. Knowledgeable and experience in software support, development and maintenance. Computer operations, data communications systems software and production services as required by assignment. Demonstrated skills in estimating, planning and scheduling personnel and computer requirement for software support development and maintenance, and/or computer operations, as required by assignment. Experienced in supervising and evaluating personnel. Knowledge of formulating objectives, standards and procedures.
